Halloween fun

Skylar loves this holiday! What could be better......dressing up and getting candy? Not much. Except for pumpkins, which was new this year and she loves that too!

She already has two costumes....one for at Grammy's house (little mermaid)

And one for her house (a nice dragon). And she loves them both!!!

Last weekend we took her to the pumpkin patch.

It was lots of fun, Skylar got to ride in the wagon while we looked for our pumpkins, then play around while daddy put them in the car.

There was a hay bale castle that Skylar just had to climb

and then she spotted the bounce house.

I wasn't sure if she was really going to like it, but that was just silly mommy thinking. She loved it! It was hard to get her out of it.

After a we finally got her to leave the patch and got home, took a very needed nap, we got to start getting the pumpkins de-gooed and decorated!

She wasn't to sure about putting her hand in the pumpkin, but once she did, she liked it. She really like licking her fingers...she thought the pumpkin was delicious.

And since she can't carve yet, we got some paint out so that mommy and Skylar could paint one of the smaller pumpkins.

Which of course, was the hilight of the night!

Photos from summer

Well I did a bad jog putting up pics from the past three months so I thought I would share a few now. So here we go.

Skylar liked to run around Grandmas with a bucket on her hear. She thought it was hilarious....and it kinda was :)

Our landlord gave Skylar a few dresses. And they super cute and perfect for dress up. She wears this one alot. Its her princess dress.

Of course we had to go to the beach this summer. Skylar had to have her Grammy with her in the water. She was blue and shaking and still did not want to get out of the water....what a true Oregonian.

Skylar has become a little climber. I knew it was coming. But now she climbs everything. Couches, chairs, her horse. It doesn't matter, if she can climb it....or she thinks she can she will.

Skylar First Show

First of all I would really like to apologize for not posting anything for such a long time. As some of you know Skylar is expecting to be a big sister in April and mommy has been very very sick the last few months. But better now and ready to start up again. soooooo..................

Last night we took Skylar to her first show. Some of our friends are in a band, we are always telling them to have a family friendly show so that we can take the kid and they finally did! They were taping a show for TV so we were there....Skylar was front and center.

There were a few other kids there and they all rocked out.

Skylar was jumping ,yelling , dancing and shaking her tooshie the whole time. She had the biggest smile all night.

It was loads of fun. And its always better when you know the band. Skylar had lots of enjoyment yelling the boys names out that were playing...it was pretty cute.
